We have been named one of the Sunday Times Best Places to Work 2026. For the third year running.

Of all the recognition we have received, this is the one we are most proud of. Not for the award itself, but for what it says about the people who built Monument, and the way they show up for each other every day.

Awards like this are not decided by a panel of judges. They are decided by the people who work here. That is what makes it valuable.

What makes Monument, Monument

Three of our cultural values define how we work.

  • Winning together. No one here succeeds alone. The culture at Monument is collaborative, and we mean that.
  • Owning the work. People here take real responsibility. They care about the outcome, not the output.
  • Always looking for a better way. We are a growing bank and are still building. That mindset keeps us honest and keeps us improving.

These are not values written on a wall. They are the reason talented people choose to join us, and the reason great people choose to stay.

Why this matters for our clients

A great workplace, a diverse workforce and a great client experience are connected. When people feel valued, they bring more of themselves to their work. That shows up in every conversation, every response, every moment where a client needs someone who actually cares.

It is the same reason our clients stay too.

As our CEO Ian Rand put it:

"I believe we have something very valuable at Monument which sets us apart: an exceptional culture built from the ground up by exceptional people, focused on delivering exceptional service to our clients. That is something for us all to be enormously proud of."

Three years running is not luck. It is exactly that.
